Better Decisions allows you to improve your decision making by allowing you to review decisions you made in the past. Our memories tend to suffer from confirmation, cognitive and temporal bias and therefore we forget the reasons we made decisions in the past. Therefore we continue to repeat past mistakes.

Better Decisions will let you document a decision and the reasons why you made such a decision when you make it. You can go back and change the relative importance of each reason and also document how the decision has turned out with the passage of time. What you will find is that certain reasons become less important, and other reasons, which you did not think about, become more important. Documenting those over time will help you identify patterns, identify blind spots and make decisions more deliberately.


If you are looking for instant gratification, this app is not for you. But if you are willing to spend a few minutes each week to revisit decisions, personal or professional, you will find that you are becoming a better decision maker and not repeating mistakes from the past.
